Bliss!!

Ok, I am going to break away from the list today!

Last Thursday night was an answer to my prayers! Patrick came home and after a long talk, I think we are better than we have been in a long time! I know Sam and him are! Lane is ecstatic, not just because he is back, but because our relationship is one that even when he does move out again, it will be on good terms.

I know we all have gone through the typical "I'm 18" scenario, but as a parent, it was the hardest tough love I have ever given... But, when I talked to him and told him to come home and that I would never turn my back on him, I think he finally realized that what I have been saying this whole time is true, that I love him unconditionally, and will go to the ends of the earth for him. I may not have given birth to him, but he is straight out of my heart!

On another note, he came home with a trash back of dirty clothes and I have never been so thankful to do his laundry! ha! But I know he is comfortable now, because of course there are socks, shoes, etc. everywhere!

I just love those two stinky, spoiled rotten boys of mine!

1. Grandpa: I miss you sooo much, it has been really hard since July 5, 2010. It just doesn't seem real... I just want you back so i can talk to you! You have a piece of my heart alwayS and you mean the world to me i miss you more than you will ever know.

2. Sam: Thank you for being my husband you are an amazing husband and Father and I love you! You captured my heart a long time ago!

3. Lane: You will never know how much I love you! You truly are the reason i get up every morning. YOU ARE MY HEART!

4. Patrick: I love you and really wish i could understand what has happened to you in the last few months... I hope you realize soon that this is not the right way to be doing things...

Middle School!

Well today's was L's first day of 6th grade aka Middle school! He was hard to get up as ususal, he was nervous but all in all he did great! We went to the office for a schedule change and then he went on to class when the bell rang! He seems to be quite the little popular guy on campus as everyone was saying Hey Lane whats up! That made me smile with pride!

This sure is a whole lot different from the VERY FIRST day of school when he went to pre-k! He cried, I cried, I drove around town the entire time he was at school because I refused to go home because i just couldn't be that far away and even drove back and peaked in the window like 4 times. Each year has gotten easier for him to go and let go... I see that as each year goes by he is growing up and the time is going by so fast! I am going to cherish this time and laugh at the times to come where I embarass him just by being his mom! I love this kid! He is my heart! Just ask him!

Parenthood... GRRRRRRR

Parenthood can be so rewarding and sometimes so painful... Although I feel like i have failed right now, I hope that it will all be okay soon... PAW and TLW I love you both forever and always...

It's been a hot one in Oklahoma!

Today seems like spring in Oklahoma since it is just 93 degrees! Ha! For the past month it has been between 100-110 here in Oklahoma so I am enjoying the "spring like" weather!

Football practice started Monday and I am really excited tha L is playing this year! I really don't know how he is doing it! It is hot without football pads and a helmet on! But I keep saying I am going to be freezing in the stands before long and he will be hot out on the field! GO CATOOSA INDIANS 6TH GRADE!



School starts next week and L will be going to middle school this year YIKES! He is pretty excited about it! I'm excited but a little concerned because as we all know school gets a little more difficult and they start dealing with different issues! I'm glad I don't have to do it again! Ha!

Hautemama's Seven!

1. I love high school football and am completely addicted to Friday Night Lights the television show! I have all three seasons on DVD and can't wait for the 4th to come out this month!!!

2. I have always wanted to teach High School American History! Yes High School! I had a great American History teacher my Sophmore year of high school and he made me love history!

3. I really want to move to Florida! If I could just some how work up the guts to do it we would be ok! I know Im a baby still but it is a scary thought to move without my family close...

4. My husband is an amazing singer and he sang to me on our wedding day! I love that guy! We celebrated our sixteenth wedding anniversary in June!

5. I'm addicted to my iphone. Sorry can't help it!

6. I went to high school with UFC fighter Mikey Burnett and he is very very sweet!

7. I was told I would not be able to have a baby without help! We attempted invitro and they retrieved one (yes i said one) egg and I got pregnant the first time! L is truly a miracle baby!!

Handsome Son, 19, Tulsa (Catoosa area), OK

Anyway, he is a great brother, caring, considerate and responsible. I just want him to find a GREAT girl!!!!

Wowsah!!!

Wow what a weekend! Friday was Catoosa's high school graduation! It seemed like the last of P's friends graduated and are moving on! It was good to see them all! Leaving the graduation I hurt my ankle again! Almost two years ago I tore all of the ligaments in my left foot,chipped the bone and fractured my ankle, well... It looks like i did it again! GRRRRR!

Anyway, on Saturday I went and had a much needed peiducure and my toes look oh so good! This was my Mother's Day present form P and it was great! Later that evening L and I went out to my sister's for my niece's birthday party! We had a great time!

Yesterday was hard work day! We did yard work all day and it looks fabulous!!!

Now on to the rest of the week!

It's Good to bew the Queen; Hometown tour!

Although, my original "hometown" really is Collinsville, Oklahoma I have been a resident of Catoosa for 16 years since me and my husband moved here for a closer commute for his work!

Catoosa, Oklahoma is along the original Route 66 and the one thing that just seems weird and quirky to me is that we are known for this Big Blue Whale that a sweet husband built for his wife many years ago!


Catoosa is an original port city. The port of Catoosa is the largest inland port in America! I live about 7 miles east of Catoosa but still consider myself close! My heart though will always reside in Collinsville, Oklahoma!

Life

I haven't posted on here in a while and am going to try to do better because I know how much I love reading everyone's blogs and not just their facebook!

About two weeks ago my son Patrick woke up at 1:30 in the morning screaming in pain! It scared the heck out of me and i drove 85 to the hospital! He had two kidney stones! What in the world, he is only 19! Anyway, he had surgery yesterday and they were able to break both up and not have to do an invasive surgery! Praise the Lord!

This weekend Lane my baby who is a true miracle will be 12! (ready my story) We are having a skating party! Woohoo it makes me think back to my Friday and Saturday nights in middle school and early high school, I went skating every weekend! So, since we are going skating last weekend I went on a treasure hunt in my parents storage building and found my speed skates and they still feel the same! I am so excited!

Yesterday Kelly (www.kellyskornerblog.com) wrote a blog post about infertility and I too have experienced that and this being Lane's 12th birthday weekend it really makes me so thankful to God and that he is faithful to me! I love you Lane and you are my heart!
